I've been quietly building kindling.wtf — a regenerative feed layer that removes cruelty without removing controversy.

The idea: your feed shouldn't be full of spite masquerading as reasonable commentary, but it also shouldn't sanitize away legitimate anger at injustice.

the word "Kindling" on a rich brown background in large bold type and cream color font. Below, the words, "Erase cruelty. Preserve critique." in thinner, smaller text. Around the edges of the image are floating embers of red, orange, and yellow.

I’m not a VRC user, but I still weighed in. Very few companies seek to establish a dialogue, so this is very good.

I keep getting messages asking if it's okay to write fics, make fanart, and draw smut of my OCs. Go right ahead! You don't need my permission! 💕

Yup that was the idea! Here was something I did with the earlier version of this and what sparked the conversation about having the imported fics have a local instance but link to their respective archive mirror as well :3

Yesterday, I promised I'd "just publish this as it was" and I... lied, mostly. Issue was, it needed an AO3.js release, which needed some good ol' TLC (TypeScript Loving Code).

But behold! Our new AO3 x Astro loader puts YOUR AO3 fics on YOUR site!

New Tangled repo ✨: tangled.org/fujocoded.bs...

Screenshot a README titled "AO3 Loader" with the subtitle "Basic example of an Astro content loader that pulls an author's works from AO3 and renders them as a page. Yours to copy and play around with!" Below is a white card listing four works by astolat in serif text, each with a bold title and kudos count, a fandom name, and an italic excerpt: "Wishing Well" (9913 kudos, The Avengers and Thor), "Laying Siege" (9919 kudos, Game of Thrones), "Traveling Far" (12571 kudos, Game of Thrones), and "Not A Word" (13664 kudos, Merlin).

I plan on doing an anime rainbows alt eventually but i was so proud and so locked in with finishing it just now I wanted to post right away. I haven't felt that level of pride in a while.
